I often like to head out in the car at the end of the day with my camera, especially if there is the promise of a particularly good sunset. 
 
On this occassion I was looking for my local hares as I have certain fields that I like to visit, knowing there is always a good chance of seeing them.  Although on this occasion they were nowhere to be seen! 
 
However, I had to screech the car to a jarring halt when I noticed two beautiful roe deer gamboling across a field with the sun setting behind them. I just managed to jump out with my camera and take a few shots before the sun dissappeared along with the deer.
 
It was a magical encounter.
